We love this as a family adventure, A place to doscover all the old artifacts of life in tye olden days kods enjoy a great day out for all ages

Maybe slightly under the radar just because it is not in the CBD, but it is really no effort at all to get there. It also has in storage some items from Wah lees from when it was in 45 Greys Ave Chinatown.

It has so many hands on activities for the whole family. I am so entrigued by how they lived centuries ago, I would love to see more of that.

the history

Inspired my son with the amazing technology, old and new. When he was small, we visited almost weekly! #darkhorse

so much for all the family to enjoy

What kid (or grown up, for that matter) hasn't dreamed of flying? At MOTAT’s latest School Holiday Experience - Defying Gravity - you can learn all about this most wondrous of processes, including creating your very own flying machine! You'll also learn how a parachute and rocket works and obtain your very own MOTAT Aeronaut Licence.

Interesting things to look at and do.

Great fun for all the family.
