The most popular pie from here is the chicken, feta and spinach pie; it’s so different from everything else they have and it’s a nice change from mince or steak. There is always a fair amount of ingredients inside each and every pie which keep the punters coming back for more!

    The number one place I think of going when I want a little sweet treat is Moturoa Hot Bread Shop, they have the absolute best custard buns! For those of you that don’t know what they are you are missing out; it’s a long bun split through the middle with a line of custard finished with a glaze and chocolate sauce, the ultimate dessert! They also have the world’s largest cookies; some I’ve seen have almost been as big as my head!

      This has become my new favourite bakery, the hot chips in here are amazing! They're never soggy and are always crisp and piping hot. I go in quite regularly and usually get a chicken, spinach, and feta pie, which I have not seen anywhere else; that's one thing unique about the place! I also love their ginger slices, a bit of an odd treat but it's surprisingly good.
