Such a neat, retro & funky bar. The food is great (not overly cheap) but freshly cooked and innovative. The selection of beers and ciders on tap is awesome, they are a Macs bar so have everything Macs related. Also stock a good range of wines. The place is great to go and watch a game and for friday afternoon drinks. They have a great outdoor area with open fire places to set the mood. Its an absolutely mad house when there is a game on at Eden park so if you like busy busy then its a good place to head. Its not the place to go for a cheap drink but in the heart of kingsland at one of aucklands funkiest bars you wouldnt expect it to be.
This place always seems to be bustling. Came here with a few friends and was seated near the live entertainment. Service was quick and staff were friendly. Chose to have some snacks to share and then some individual meals. Food here is really tasty - the burgers are delicious and try the wings! I always leave full and look forward to the next visit. The only thing is parking can be a bit of a pain.
Popped in for brunch on a Saturday, for something different. Service was alright, but wouldn’t say it was amazing. Food was good, but there was something about the brunch menu not being printed so it was on a piece of paper, again, good but not amazing. I got an ice chocolate, my partner got a flat white, both good, but not amazing. Over all, okay outing but nothing to call home about.
