NewKor is nestled in amongst a couple of other Asian restaurants but the big karaoke signs will be hard to miss. Luckily you won't disturb the other diners when you are attempting to belt out some tunes before or after your meal as the restaurant and karaoke are on separate floors.

Share the plates around and don't be afraid to go into battle with the chopsticks. You can even see the chefs plying their trade in front of the towering flames from the kitchen.

You want to go to NewKor when you are hungry and a little bit skint. Their main dishes are really cheap (starting at a measly $12) and will fill you up. Highly recommend getting the spicy chicken with some fiery kimchi on the side. It’s a lip-smacker!

This is a cosy, super tasty Korean on Dixon. Check out a tempting menu in the window to see their specials, hot plates of all sorts starting at $15-16. Karaoke upstairs and always busy on weekends. Easy to see why.

I love eating here. I get bibimbap almost every single time, to be fair, but I've also tried their kimchi pancake, fried dumplings and spicy tofu soup. All of it good. It's also all reasonably priced. And there's a karaoke space upstairs. And they play awesome k-pop.
