A great team host the two cafes, The Library Café and Store and Okere Falls Store, which is known as a fabulous place for gigs with a rocking great beer garden. They also make great Rocket coffee, stock some delicious food and gourmet groceries for the locals.

    A Great little bar/cafe near Okere Falls with a great selection of craft beers. Also if you’re a beer-lover make sure you go to their annual Beer Fest, every October. Need I say more?

      I’ve reviewed this space before, so I won’t go into detail. But this place is part-cafe, part-bar, part-gourmet food store… and well it’s pretty damn awesome. These guys strive for perfection in all the products they sell and their coffee is no exception.

        This is cute and quirky place for lunch in the sunny garden on a summer day. Great food and friendly, courteous service.

          Many food and beverages that are hard to come by in the provinces. Good hot dogs, german bier and some brilliant smoothies. Nice outdoor area and short 15 minute walk to stunning Falls.

            The Okere Falls Store is the pride of the Lake Rotoiti area. Born from the old fifties building that once housed the local petrol station, the new owners have really created a unique retail and cafe experience for locals and visitors alike. They serve up great cafe snacks, amazing coffee and the store sells a variety of local and organic grocery products.

              In the middle of nowhere on the way from Tauranga to Rotorua is this wonderful cafe with specialty organics from all over New Zealand. Coffee is super in their back garden surrounded by bush.
