On Valentine's Day, 1973, Colin Haines opened Ollies in Royal Oak - an American-style diner serving sumptuous burgers, heavenly sundaes, amazing shakes and delicious ice cream.

Nowadays, Colin is still world-famous in Royal Oak as the man at the helm of this great institution of delicious diner treats.

Head to Ollies - with friends, with family or with a date - and grab one of their tasty burgers, great when followed with one of their legendary sundaes.

    Ollies is an Auckland establishment. Ice creams are huge and the food sounds delicious. The ambience combined with the cool white and red design make ollies an all time favourite. This is a good place to bring the kids or any out of towner!!

      Been having hot fudge chocolate sundaes for 30+ years. Have travelled for an hour or more for one. You gotta do it.

        One of Aucklands oldest real American Style diner... its iconic and well worth a visit.  Situated on the roundabout in Royal Oak its hard to miss. Ollies serves up american style dishes like  Hot dogs, Nachos and  burgers of many kinds and ice cream sundaes galore.   it's no wonder this joint has been around so long!

          If you are new to Auckland this is an absolute must visit! Best ice cream and burgers. I love their sundaes after an American hot dog. It's an Auckland icon!
