Labelling themselves the living room of locals, Pap House on Papamoa Beach is a buzzing cafe, restaurant and bar.

Serving up classic American food alongside an extensive list of wine and craft beers, they're open from the morning till 11:45pm every day, making for a great place to brunch before the day or relax after time spent at the beach. Locals love the family friendly vibe of the place, with open mic Mondays and attentive staff, though their jerk fish tacos served with avocado cream are reason enough to visit already!

The East Papamoa cosy local and kids are welcome. Burger, chicken wrap or fish and chips if dad or mum didn’t catch any that day on the beach. Amazing seafood chowder too.

    Papamoa East has a new local and its family-friendly for early diners. The typical kiwi beach pub bar/restaurant is a craft beer Mount Brew house and has a good selection of food – they do a good steak, ribs, Sunday roast and have a variety of smaller plates including fish tacos. Great news for locals is the courtesy van.
