some places will always be the same as they have been for a long time . But please remember the owners of the camping ground or place listed as free can change their mind it is their land and their decision .So be careful when planning and be ready for change .In the photograph is a campervan which is parked in a place in Takapuna which has been a freedom camping space ,used usually on the weekends .But I believe that this is about to change . This parking and sleeping space often has 30 to 40 cars with groups of people sleeping in these cars . Bit be ready for change . Location is at the Hurstmere road side of the Takapuna camp ground .Often on Saturday night it is at its busiest time . Free .
