I love this place, very unassuming and old fashioned. The chef rotate and usually its someone who is really into pleasing the customers. The scene is chilled out and the beer is pretty cheap, too!

Fun

Great for summer bowls and cold beer #shoutme

Great venue for live music, fun bowling in the summertime

Over the weekend, the Piha Bowling Club comes alive serving meals on a Thursday, Friday and Saturday night. Over the winter, Soup Night on a Thursday is a particular favourite with local foodies Tim and Clare ladling up hearty soups and broths. Soul sounds are provided by Gene Hogan and friends and the weekly evenings run until September. For a more excitable evening, pop in on a Sunday afternoon for karaoke and roast night.

Once the sun goes down, the Piha Bowling Club comes alive during weekend nights. Open for blackboard menu meals on a Thursday, Friday and Saturday, the locals also love the karaoke and roast event on a Sunday evening. It’s also a venue for live music on selected weekends - just ask at the Piha Store or the Piha Library to find out what’s on.
