Terrible customer service.... I Paid $48 each for both my daughter and I to get a manicure each. We were barked at to sit at numbered chairs which were not clearly labelled. We only got cuticles and polish done with a tiny bit of filing (with a used dusty nail file AUGH I CRINGED SO BAD!). My daughter's technician (if he was even qualified?!) was quite nice to her and helped me pick a colour. My person was awful, he had ear pods in the whole time, he wouldn't look at me. I asked questions and he ignored me, yanked on my fingers and twisted them quite roughly, did not ask if I was happy with anything, and NO MASSAGE - um hello isn't that one of the best parts of a manicure the massage and service?! Not only that but they did not wear gloves and my person had a wart on his finger and I felt really uncomfortable/unable to say anything. This was really disappointing. (Also had some pushy woman come in after us and she demanded a Pedi first and so we had to wait for a second person). So much for a special mum and daughter birthday treat 🙁 I should get a refund for at least half the amount I spent because of the terrible service and not getting what I paid for. I will be calling and voicing my dissatisfaction tomorrow. NOTE TO THE OWNER the experience of a nail salon is as important as the technical skill and treatments provided. I am gutted I saved up for weeks to be so let down by the miserable, unhygienic, unprofessional and unwelcoming environment, a waste of my hard earned $96 :( Your staff ruined our experience.

Would never ever recommend this place in Dunedin to anyone

If you want nails that are wild, wacky or just some French tips then Custom Nails is the place for you. Situated in Meridian Mall, your nail designs are only limited by your imagination. Go wild!
