Pukeko Cafe is a lovely cafe but it is not just the food and coffee, Peacocks walk around freely outside, the scenery is beautiful and the drive out there is worth the view. It is a chance to get out of the big smoke without having to travel too far.

It is right next to Kiwi Valley, Old MacDonalds Farm so if you and the family want to make a day of it come out and have some lunch too.

You can also hire the cafe out for a function or birthday party till late without having to worry about keeping the noise down too much.

    The Pukeko Cafe is right next door to Kiwi Valley Farm Park,  They do fantastic fish & chips on Friday nights.  The coffees are delicious and they have yummy cakes as well.  The breakfast / bruch menu offers a great selection to choose from. The live music on Sunday adds a wonderful atmosphere to the cafe & the farm park.  Well worth a visit. 

      This cafe is situated next to Kiwi Valley and we've visited it on a number of occasions.  It's a lovely relaxed setting with tasty food.  They have a basket of toys for kids and a few highchairs.  They serve cabinet and menu food with large cooked meals.  Well worth a visit.

        This place is beautiful. Tranquil location, country, rustic ambiance. Nice mochas, and MONSTER sized meals!! Definitely worth a visit. Rather quiet with the foot traffic as well, so great place to unwind and enjoy a good meal and a hot drink

          Lovely environment and friendly staff, nice and clean and a good play area and toys for people with children, kept mine occupied while her meal was being prepared. At first I thought the prices were a little steep but then when the meal came out it was massive! Totally humungous!!! You certainly got your money's worth, so much so that there was far too much food for anyone at our table to finish their meal. Flavours were fantastic and the artwork on the walls were lovely. Really lovely, quiet, out-of-the way setting, would definately return when I'm next feeling super hungry ;)

              This place is fabulous, highly recommend it to all.  There's the Kiwi Valley Farm Park just right there as well.  I really enjoyed my day on Sunday, starting with breakfast at 10am and ending at 3pm when the band packed up!  Wonderful live music, thanks to Raw Jam.  Just an awesome way to spend a Sunday.

                  Love the atmosphere, the food is yum and theres plenty of it. Coffee in is great too, however have been disappointed with the takeaway coffees I have had.

                    This cute little cafe in the sticks is really worth the drive out to.  So close to other family attractions you can make a day trip of it. The cafe has peacocks running around (I kinda laugh cause I grew up with peacocks running around on the farm) ..  Nice breakfast, lunch & afternoon teas.  something to please everybody.
