Came across raw essentials through a few different people. They gave us some material to read about feeding your pet raw food versus biscuits. I knew biscuits weren't very good and cats seem to get addicted to them. Our cat won't eat the tinned stuff. He'll lick around the edges and eat all the liquid then leave the actual meat. But who knows what's in that stuff. Raw Essentials has a huge range of meats for cats and dogs - rabbit, wallaby, turkey, chicken, lamb etc. Seems kind of obvious that a raw diet would be best for them - the kill and eat things raw. The picture is our cat chowing down on the wallaby and heart mix. He refused to eat some of the other ones but Raw Essentials takes back what they won't eat which is awesome. Thanks Raw Essentials.

    Lyn is an outstanding vet (she diagnosed Bella's atopy & gut dybiosis after two other vets failed to find the cause of her discomfort) and her team are pretty spectacular too. They are happy to spend quality time with you and your animal to aid a positive outcome whether it be diet or health related. Watch out for their weekly specials - I think it's rabbit at the moment.

        My cats love this diet, no more grazing, no more wanting my raw or cooked meat, in fact I saw my neighbours cat looking through the fence with 'food envy'!!!! I wouldn't eat a 100% processed diet so why should they, especially now they can get a totally balanced raw food diet.

          Although there have been very obvious physical improvements to my dog's health since going onto a raw diet, I believe it is worth mentioning that he is a great deal happier too!  He isn't getting the exact same old boring cup of biscuits day in and day out, his meals take a little longer to get through so he gets to do lots of pulling and tugging and chewing which make him very excited and he gets to come shopping with us instead of having to stay at home.  Raw Essentials is my dog's favourite shop! 

            Best dog food and real food! My dogs have never been healthier and there coats are in excellent condition. I really think everyone should get there animals onto this food!!

              Just started last week on fully raw diet for our two babies and is going great, was really impressed with store at grey lynn and will be back for more soon :) wish id known about it sooner

                Absolutley love these guys and the dog is always super excited to go in and visit the staff and help us select the furry kids dining needs.  We get so many comments about how shiny the dogs coat is and we always say it's due to the fantastic raw food he gets from Raw Essentials.   The cats love their raw food diet so much they don't want to know about packaged food anymore.  There is nothing boring about the selection and the people we recommend the diet to are usually jealous of the variety our pets get!

                  I have had my dogs on the raw food diet for 6 months now and only after 3 days we noticed a big difference in them. Their skin and coats are truely healthy and their temperment had improved. The experience has made me more interested in what i put in my own mouth and how much better i feel when I make good choices in my own diet. Thanks so much .

                    What a great little store. The products are easy to find and there's no fussy packaging so you can see exactly what you're buying for your pet. The staff are friendly and helpful. They asked about my pet and gave advice on which food would be best. The info about dry food versus wet food was really interesting too. And there were dogs and cats coming in and out - I loved it.
