It's a local cafe right in the heart of Auckland Central, just situated right across The Civic. When the city becomes too overwhelming for me, Remedy Coffee makes for a good hideout. With its wooden floors, minimal lighting, chalkboard menu, and shelves of books and board games, the cafe almost feels like home. Small and quaint, expect the place to always be packed especially mornings. Because duh, coffee. Whether you're just grabbing something during those lazy mornings or taking a break from work, Remedy sure has something in store for you. Expect that caffeine kick and acidic notes from their coffee selection, as they use Toasted Esperesso's AA7 Kenyan beans on their menu - cool as.

Just across the road from The Civic, Remedy is a welcoming, cosy retreat in the heart of the bustling CBD. The perfect place to drink great coffee, read a book and forget about the rest of the world for while.

Best staff

Remedy coffee serves the best hot chocolate in the CBD. It is a cute, cozy little place tucked away in the heart of the city centre with plenty of books and board games to help you pass your time while you're sipping on your favorite drink. The staff is uber friendly and the place generally has a "feel good" aura about it. I've brought every single one of my friends here and they love it. I also enjoy coming here to chill by myself when I need some ME time. 

Stopped here for lunch and managed to find a seat which was lucky because it was really busy. The waiting staff saw to us straight away taking a drinks order whilst we decided on what to eat. I had the Eggs Benedict and my husband had the burger. Both were really nice and didn't take too long to come out. The coffee was very strong and not really to my taste but wasn't awful.It had a really nice atmosphere and is really close to shops. Would definitely go there again.
