As you can probably tell from the title Renkon is the my favourite Japanese resturant ever.For 7 reasons 1  its cheap ( $11.50) bowl 2  its healthy 3  its quick 4 its quriky 5 you get unlimited free Japanese tea, 6 .it tastes amazing. I cant speak of this place highly enough!! The best in the City!!!    

    plus wonderfully efficient, courteous and happy staff.  Not to mention - I love the tofu misodare (with either rice or noodles)

      Renkon is a perfect take-away option and also ideal for eating at the bar next door Mea Culpa. The food is very tasty and well priced. We love to sit in Mea Culpa with a wine and feast on Renkon's tasty food. 

        I love the salmon terijaki dish.. fast and cheap - good quality ! more spice for the chilli beef would be good...

          Great lunch stop yummy teriyaki and karage chicken! friendly n fast service - regular spot for lunch and dinner!

            I only ever order one thing from here the miso chicken katsu. Delicious fried crumbed moist chicken with miso sauce and lashings of mayo. I'm not a rice eater but I will mix this whole lot up shredded cabbage, chicken and all and eat the entire thing.  I always take visiting friends here and I always order for them (if they'll let me). Two out of four of us decided to go their own ways and sorely regretted it after tasting some of our chicken katsu.  The food is speedy and the staff great. 

              We went for a meal last night and wanted to have a beer but they didn't have any! It didn't matter though because we had our meal delivered next door to Mea Culpa! Great little combo. Karaage Chicken and Chicken Sauce Katsu - Never fails

                Fast food doesn’t have to be a burger anymore this Japanese alternative is healthy and tasty and priced right

                  First up, the staff are are super super friendly and perky. Such a pleasure to deal with. The menu is small but it covers the basics and the prices are really cheap. While you wait for your order, you are able to help yourself to cups of hot tea for free, which is a sweet touch. The food comes quickly and is full of flavour. If you wanted to dine in, there is plenty of seating as well. Good times.  

                    Great price, great food. I like this place a lot.
