I've been coming here for years ... the quality has never dipped and the prices have only risen marginally since the mid 00s. Great value Japanese curries - the beef or chicken Katsu are particularly fantastic - served up in an unpretentious little "hole in the wall". A low-key Auckland institution.

    I've been getting 1 lunch a week here for a few years and it never disappoints. SImple hearty rice and noodle dishes. The usual chicken , pork and beef options are all good, but the big surprise is just how good their teriyaki tofu is.

      Fantastic food and atmosphere is just as good :o)
