Saveway is my favourite fruit & vege shop, so it’s a shame it’s all the way down in Highland Park. I used to live nearby and shopped here for produce & meat almost exclusively, and I still make the trip every now and then, and it’s always worth it. Everything’s fresh & cheap, the selection is pretty massive, and there’s also a dry goods section with a lot of unusual, interesting foods to browse.
This is my favourite food store. The fruit and vegetables are fresh,a big variety and well priced. The butchery sells A grade meat. All the fat is trimmed away, fresh and delicious. I haven't had a tough piece of meat from here ever. The fish department is stocked with a good variety of fresh whole and filletted fish, all sitting on fresh ice. Again prices beat the opposition. The shelves are well stocked with a good variety of food stuffs, many Asain specialties. All areas hold an A grade rating. This store is definitely worth visitin, I'm glad it's on my route.
