The customer service here is appalling. Ok I love coming here because of the penguins but other than that I wouldn’t bother. We got given a complimentary family pass. But unlike other companies where you have an individual pass for each adult n each child they just have one piece of paper that says family pass called them n explained that we are two adults n would like to give the children’s pass to friends said cannot be done, asked if we could get three adults n use the two children bit for one adult no can do. Very very rude on the phone.

Took my 2 year and 3 year old here and they were enthralled. The penguins were a particular favourite and the big sharks mouth gives little ones a fun adrenalin rush. The place seems a bit tired though, and considering the price you pay to get in here - and the fact that it it’s one of the must-sees for international tourists - you’d expect a bit more. A decent cafe, for example! The toilets are nice and new though.

The kids are always amazed here.

Great :)

My kids love this place. The big snow mobile ride and the children's corner all just amazing for them. Standing in the shark mouth or pretending to be eaten is there way of having fun.

Great review :)

Simply brilliant. Took my mother who is visiting NZ. Expensive but so so memorable. The staff were helpful, friendly and informative. Loved every minute.

Nice :)

I just recently went down to Kelly Tarltons and it was good as I remembered it as a kid! Get your kids and head down under, It's a blast from the past!

On the expensive side for most families we love how magical Kelly Tarlton's is. So wonderful to watch little faces light up as they realise what is gliding over their heads. I absolutely recommend going to Kelly Tarlton's at least once!

Good review :)

Such a magical place for children and adults to understand the beauty of the sea but its so expensive. to take the family out for the afternoon here could have paid for a whole weekend of activities. It is a lovely place to take the kids and its a really special place but it is too expensive.

Thanks for your feedback! We're glad you enjoyed your visit and agree the creatures are magical. Keeping live animals well cared for does have a cost associated with it - but we try to offer ways for our customers to make savings! Families can save by purchaing a Family Pass vs. individual tickets, and if you pre-book online you can save an additional 10%. thanks, KTs
