SKYCITY Grand Hotel

One of the best hotels i’ve stayed at. Nice and clean

i have only stayed here once due to the prices, but my stay was worth the cost! the rooms are in great condition- you definitely get what you pay for! the staff are so friendly and polite, and offer anything you need to make you feel more comfortable. 5 stars

One my favorite hotels in central Auckland. So central to the buzz of the city and with the newly opened Red Hummingbird and Depot restaurants/ bars as neighbors it’s a cool place to hang out. The room was spacious, clean and well appointed. King size bed, large bathroom and a mini bar that could keep you fed for a week! We will be back!

whilst visiting the casino recently it was getting late so decided to check out the hotel after thinking it would cost heaps was pleasantly surprised. The staff at front desk were very friendly and were able to sort out a deal which was great. The hotel itself was very clean and comfortable would definately recommend

Stayed last weekend for a special occasion, fulfilled my special requests with a happy to help attitude. Every last detail is taken care of from the lovely scented reception (with macarons) to the rooms. Last time we stayed we rec'd an upgrade to the best room in the hotel, once in a life time experience! Will always stay at the Grand as our first choice (and breakfast is the best hotel breakfast I've ever had too).

Stayed in a suite for one night. Was amazing. Massive room and great view of the city. Ask staff for parking coupons.

Very nice , do not be mistaken with the Sky Tower or the restuarants in the Casino as I was this is much better .Mind you the Sky Tower meals over the years have been very nice .

A great hotel with a very spacious and simple luxurious lobby, complete with a display of Louis Vuitton bags for your viewing! The rooms are actually smaller than the hotel across the street in the Sky City complex, but nevertheless, they are very well done and comfortable. I think what makes the difference between the two hotels is the bathroom; the bathrooms in the Grand are better with a seperate shower and bathtub.  LOVE the lap pool and the little gym, very clean and nice. Only thing I noticed that was a little odd was how easily sounds from the hallways can be heard in the rooms; I heard some fun young people running and laughing down the hallway, and I could hear them so clearly that it seemed as if the door was open. Maybe the doors aren't very well sealed, or maybe the people were really loud. But running and laughing is a rare thing to be seen in any hotel, so all in all, the hotel was great.
