Spice World - Avondale

Walk into Spice World and you’ll be sniffing in no time - the smell of exotic freshly ground spices surrounds you, but in a lovely fresh way that isn’t overpowering. This unassuming store is a foodie’s dream, especially if you dream of creating authentic Indian-influenced dishes. Instant Indian packet meals are also available here, so you can fake it till you make it. It’s also a budget friendly place with bulk bins selling store cupboard essentials at good prices. All I want found in under one roof... Excellent quality and price takes me to Spice World again and again. I am a regular visitor to the facebook page where they advertise new product arrivals, special offers etc. I never miss any specials...:)

From freshly ground spices to ethnic food it doesn't get better than this. Hold fire did I mention that an owner who is extremely friendly, who gives you tips on what the different spices are and is so passionate about food that he won't sell anything sub standard in his store! By the way if you love coffee then Snacks and Scoops just across the road from spice world (which belong to the same management) do really good coffee, fresh sandwiches & paninis!!! 

Just bought brown basmati rice and it was really fantastic.

last weekend I visited this store for some dry fruits and nuts, I must tell you they have got very good quality of dry Apricots, Almond and Walnuts at very good price. Size and taste of Apricots and Almonds is really amazing.  My son bought very strawberry and they are sweets as...

Aromatic spices and groceries at very cheap price and very helpful service. They have good quality nuts at very low prices, much cheaper then supermarket. I always buy my Almonds, Cashews and ready to eat curries. Its very handy to have. Overall great store to do day to day shopping.
