Sprout is a popular Mount Albert cafe. Based in a former petrol station, the decor is simple with seating inside and bi-fold windows opening out into what was the old forecourt.
Open daily, you can choose from a delicious menu of creative brunch meals with options for healthy eaters and those with dietary requirements. You can also enjoy Coffee Lab coffees along with organic and Hakanoa handmade teas.
Try their signature dish of bacon wrapped soft egg with a panko crumb served with tomato basil salsa and hash cake. Wash it down with one of their traffic light coloured fresh juices.

Don't panic, it's organic! That's the motto at this excellent Mt Albert local, Sprout. With a wonderfully healthy menu, they serve up delicious juices in a variety of different ways and will soon be serving smoothies as well. The owner let me know that they are just currently trialling a whole lot of new recipes so I can't wait to stop in once the smoothies are in session. However, in the meantime, it still makes my list of Top 5 Smoothie and Juices In Auckland because their juices are so fresh and so clean. Sticking with my green juice craze, I do like their verdant concotion but friends tell me the other three juices on their menu are just as good. Keep up the great work, Sprout! We'll be back soon.
