This cafe could be easily underestimated by it's facade, but a visit inside will quickly dispel all that. The food is great and the portion sizes are big, the proximity to the beach is super convenient and the beautiful courtyard is perfect for enjoying your coffee and food in the sunshine.

The staff are consistently friendly and accommodating, and it's a great place to bring kids as they can have a play around in the garden while you wait for the food.

Warmest, most hospitable place for a weekend lunch. Wife appreciates great soups; and we both appreciate Justin’s kind and caring welcomes

    Delicious food, fab friendly service (even with baby in tow) yummy coffee

      From the street this place looks small and average but if you find the garden behind the cafe and  get your food out there is really is heavenly! The food is so yummy and sitting out in the garden you see it all being cooked. My two littlies enjoy playing in the garden while we wait for food- just remember shoes as it is a rocky path. The food smells waft back to you making you more and more hungry and you  are not disappointed once the food arrives. It is hot, flavour some and a good size so you are not left hungry. A really great find in Takapuna.

        If your on the hunt for a great cafe in the takapuna area of the Northshore,your search is over ! The team at Latin Larder have awesome coffee & food.An they truely offer a personal,friendly service to all their customers,whether your a regular or a new customer.They remind me of the T.V programme Cheers ! Where every body Knows Your Name.So treat yourself and try the orange pancakes for brunch some time,they are devine !!! 

          A beacon of tranquility amongst the rows of cafes in Takapuna, Latin Larder is a garden cafe that focusses on fresh food and great hospitality.  Its one of the best kept secrets. It offer excellent food and coffee, it is the only cafe in the area to serve Miller's coffee.  The menu itself offers many treats Latin Larder Caesar Saldad has gathered a big following.  Whilst the Corned beef with Poached eggs is well worth a mention.  If you have room check out the  cabinet overflowing with  muffins and cakes .  You will get excellent coffee, superb customer services, excellent coffee and great food.  In the garden you will find the walls adorned with art works by local artists all of them for sale.
