Takapuna Beach Cafe and Store

we will never stop coming back afer a busy week this is the perfect spot for the weekend....ice cream, coffee, cakes, food what ever you can think of and so delicious.....amazing spot for walk and relax....

I love that this is right on the beach, its fantastic for meeting people coming from different areas.  The service was great and staff very helpful but I was a little disappointed with the food.  I have pancakes with marscapone and it was heaped on there, cold, and just overall was not impressed.  Fresh squeezed apple juice was not strained either.

This cafe is just AMAZING. The amount of staff on hand is just superb, you will never feel neglected. Service is friendly and swift. The coffee is just immensely good. Food is A+ and served quickly. The view is lovely and provides a nice stop on your sunday walk with the dog. Sun streams in the window and provides a warm atmosphere. Bustling community feel yet still personal. First choice in Takapuna as far as cafe's go and will continue to be for the foreseeable future. 

I dont come here very often because of the pricing (obviously reflecting the location and general quality of food they offer) but when I do I have to get one of their iced coffees. Probably best iced coffee on the shore and being able to wander down Takapuna Beach while having one on a sunny day is an experience in itself. If you stay and eat in the cafe, the staff are very attentive and the food quite unique. They have a particularly nice big breakfast if you can eat it all too. Id recommend this as a place to take someone you either wish to impress or as a nice treat for someone for brunch or lunch, however the price does prevent me from going there more frequently unfortunately.

Have been to this cafe many times and am never disappointed.  It's clear this place has a decent reputation as it is almost always busy and with good reason.  The view is spectacular for start and even on a windy rainy day is great to kick back with a hot cuppa and watch the kite surfers do their thing out on the water.  On a sunny day grab a table outside and lap up the rays whilst enjoying a light meal from their delightful menu.  Not suitable for small children, especially on a busy day and no children's menu on offer, save this spot for your break away from the kids.

Great food - but a bit pricy.  Can't beat the location!!

A great place to stop on a summer walk for a caffeine hit or a ice-cream, or if you have the time to wait stop in for breakfast or lunch. A fast paced environment which is often very busy. If you have the time it is a beautiful view to sit for a coffee and have a meal with friends. The food is good but quite expensive but i guess you pay for the location.

Great place to unwind on a sunny day with an Iced Coffee.

I've never been to the cafe but the store has the best ice cream.
