A good friend of mine who is Samoan recommended this gem of a local cafe in Mt Albert when I was seeking out the best Pacific feasts in Auckland. I visited last week and was stoked to find taro in coconut cream, a beautiful dish of steamed taro leaves and the best bit of all... $5 curries for lunch. The place was busy with lots of tradesmen coming in to snap up their awesome lunch deal. They do a mean goat curry.

    The food at Taro Leaf is amazing, freshly made & delicious. Best place to go get island food. You can go on their website & order online, very convenient & hassle free. They will let you know when your food is ready as they send you a text of the approx time to be picked up or delivered.
