I have had the worst brunch In my life. Curdled hollandaise sauce. When i sent it back they was the eggs recooked the already over cooked salmon. It was disgusting. Do not waste your money. It's a unbelievable disappointment. After it used to be such a wonderful cafe before it was sold 5 years ago. Sad day for what used to be great food.

New owners, but the menu remains the same thanks to the generosity of successful chef and previous owner James Beck, who left his cooking secrets behind at the organic Hastings eatery. The new owners promise me all recipes are made exactly as James designed them and the only change is they no longer hold Friday night dinners. And if the coffee and Spanish frittata are anything to go by it’s still a hot place to eat.

Always a fresh green option in the counter food here. Fresh local goodness, wholesome organic food with an abundant range of salads. Chef and founder James Beck has just passed the reins over to Terry Kelly, but you can expect more of the same great stuff.

Healthy and organic with a great atmosphere and natural themed décor - it's a great setting for a relaxing break. Reasonably priced, and the food has always been delicious :)

A healthy option right in the centre of Hastings. Star-chef James and partner Amber offer great local organic food straight from the heart and soul. Enjoy fantastic coffee, fresh juices, scrumptious counter-food and tasty breakfasts and lunches, with lots of options for the kids.

If you are a local then you already know about Cornucopia, but if you're a visiting Hastings then you need to put this on your to-do list. While they specialise in organic and local food their menu definitely isn't limited by it. If you come for breakfast try the smoked scramble. For lunch it's all about lamb shanks and then the Kingfish at dinnertime (Friday only).
