Te Manawa is an art gallery as well as a museum that is always updating its new exhibitions on history, art and science. You can also take part in classes and workshops, such as art classes, but also other subjects like costumes, history, science and music. One such workshop opening soon if the Corset Confidential workshop where you can learn all about period costumes and the structure of a corset.

    Since their latest re-fit Te Manawa has become one of the best places to take your children all year round. Their new playground complete with a full play kitchen, dress ups and construction site make for hours of fun! The permanant exhibits of bugs, butterflies and shells make for hours of discovery and many areas for play. It is Palmerston North’s best indoor entertainment for kids and adults alike and it’s free!
