Part bar-café, part restaurant, part antique emporium, a visit to The Apothecary is a totally unique experience. A bustling environment mixes industrial chic concrete floors and factory lamps, with an authentic 1950’s continental apothecary that looks like it has just stepped out of a Tin Tin novel.
Food is a passion, with the emphasis on great tasting fresh local produce with a mixture of European/Asian and Kiwi influences. We also feature a fully stocked continental-style bar with Peroni and Craft Beers on tap plus a wide selection of quality spirits and local and international wines.

Like a little piece of Europe in East Auckland, The Apothecary Eatery is one of those wonderful little finds that you wish you knew about sooner. Featuring a great menu and extensive drinks list you will be spoilt for choice at this fantastic place as it has all the ingredients for a fantastic time. The vintage-inspired interior is full of curious discoveries and resembles an authentic Apothecary shop, which is certainly a unique concept too.
Think of the best French toast you've had - this is better. Golden bananas sandwiched between on-site baked brioche and topped with fruit compote and vanilla mascarpone. Breakfast is my favourite meal of the day, and, with the European decor and modern feel plus a fabulous menu, this is my go-to place for the perfect date.
