Finally got to eat here after a long period of eyeballing on a Friday night. We tried the Cha Siu Bao, the chilli nuts and the pickled cucumber (we weren't super hungry) and a couple drinks. The pork bun had a whole slab of pork belly in it which was super delicious and the sides were great, too. I enjoyed sitting at the bar and watching the adorable bartenders make cocktails - such a nice view ;) For non drinkers I recommend the coconut water (served in a coconut) and the house made ginger beer.
Dumplings, ribs, pork buns, braised beef shin. These are just a few of my favourite dishes on the Blue Breeze menu. All are succulent and flavoursome, and this place is the best asian fusion restaurant in the country, and maybe in Australasia. The excellent food is enhanced by charming decor and knowledgeable, fun wait staff. A definite must visit when in Ponsonby
