One of my favourite salad orders in Nelson - the grilled prawn salad with feta, avocado, cress, rocket, endive, black olives, lemon & mint for $19.50 is good and tasty for lunch or a light supper. The lemon and mint really brings out the flavours of the prawns, yummy

    A Nelson icon located on the waterfront on Rocks Road, the Boat Shed has seen a few owners but the current management have re-established this lovely restaurant as a great place to eat. Try ‘Trust the Chef’ for a selection of the best of the menu -and wash it down with some gorgeous Nelson wines. The location is superb for a summer night’s dining, there are lots of seafood options but plenty of other choices as well.

      Open from 10 am daily, the Boat Shed has been a draw card for Nelson foodies for years and it a great place to go for a special Sunday Brunch. Its seaside Rocks Road location means it gets the best of the best views, and its all day menu by Chef Daniel Monopoli has enough choices to keep you busy for many Sundays.
