    Great place for a drink. This is what a pub should be like: a mixture of young and old -some are characters, friendly service, and not a fancy chandelier in site, just a roaring fire to combat the winter chill Also good food if you are hungry.

      Get yer fekkin arrsss down here for St Pats for Guinness sodden shenanigans! A full menu and plenty of live entertainment including a ukelele band plays every 3rd Monday of every month. 66 ukelele players turned up in feb!

        Dinner and a drink or two at the Claddagh is the perfect way to end a lazy Saturday. The staff are friendly, the food is tasty and the atmosphere is great. Sitting by the heater and polishing off a yummy dessert will make you totally forget the stresses of the week and later on live music will keep you entertained. 

          Hidden away down off the main drag but that just adds to the atmosphere of this long standing Irish bar.

            Nice set up, nice bands, nice beers.

              I will have to find a place close to Newmarket to make The Claddagh my local. I loved it. I had the lamb shank and it was delicious and HUGE! Best Guinness Ive had in a while. A great pub in general with no pretentiousness, just friendly and down to earth staff and vibe. I'll be back for sure!

                A great place to getaway from the hussle and bussle of Newmarket. The beers are cold and the atmosphere is warm. It's a nice place to unwind with a Shepherds Pie.
