What an amazing idea for a beer bar! There are always new beers to try and their nibbles are to die for (garlic bread is heavenly and squid the freshest I've ever had). Love this place, we make sure we of whenever we can!

    Just down the road from work, so end up here for a lot of after work drinks. Love the range of local beers on tap, n the wide variety in the fridge. Also, you must try their salt n pepper squid n their prawn cakes! Delish!

      If you want specialty craft beers from New Zealand and around the world then Hops is the place to go. Nice covered beer garden means it’s very warm inside.

        Nestled away on Pirie Street, The Hop Garden is a great spot for a party or meeting friends. They pour local beers, including Garage Project and ParrotDog, and have an excellent and extensive food menu - the quinoa stuffed aubergine, roasted artichokes, rocket and haloumi is a delight.

          Conveniently situated on the lower slopes of Mt Victoria

            But had to go down the nostalgic road, have a Magners and remember my time in the UK - so much nicer surroundings than any bar in the UK

              this is the cutest bar in wellington, the food especially the sunday roast is amazing and such good value! like being in your own back gaden on a sunny day!

                Very cool craft beer bar. Awesome keg seats and neat way of serving fries in plant pots!

                  Vines weaving their way across the windowed ceiling give the illusion of outdoor drinking without risking the changeable Wellington weather. Fantastic craft beer selection.

                    I like popping in here for their food and a good quality beer. The location is so lovely. Parking isnt awesome but its so nice to feel like you are outside. The food is exceptional.
