The Indian Kitchen Restaurant and Takeaways

Have never eaten in but have had takeaways from here many times. Food is fantastic and the prices amazing. They often have specials on different days e.g. Monday and Tuesday - any main curry for $12. The food is cooked to perfection. The only grip is that these guys get very busy and it can be a bit of a wait - perhaps ring ahead.

Truly Authentic Indian taste, friendly people, best service, value for money. The Place if you are looking for Indian Food!!

The food is incredible and the service is great. It's a little more expensive that some places (eg, no combos of main with rice + naan + drink), but all mains come with beautiful rice and are a very decent size. The naan was great and well worth the extra $. Definitely going back.

The Indian Kitchen is an excellent little Indian restaurant in Howick.  The food is very nice and at an extremely reasonable price.  Great customer service as well.  I have been a customer for the last three years and would highly recommend giving them a try.

I am a regular to this place since last 5 years, chef know my taste and will just make perfect food for me. every week is a usual trip to this wonderful place to satisfy my appetite.. keep the best food & service going. cheers

We ordered a takeaway from here, we felt that the platter starter was bland and lacked authenticity. The curry itself was harsh in spice, the flavours were not well balanced at all. The naan was soggy, overall it wasnt very enjoyable. We eat a lot of indian food and feel this wasnt that great.

The curries are nice, if a little on the plain side in terms of flavour. They do have good specials, like $10 curry night. Just be wary if you drop your business card into the draw you will be bombarded by text & email with regular specials - not everybody’s cup of tea…

I've been supporting this restaurant over the last 3 years and will continue to do so, as there service is second to none. Really tasty dishes at affordable prices. Keep making those delicious curries guys.
