A firm favourite for craft beer lovers, I love The Institution for their ever-changing taps, tasty pies and chatty bar staff. There’s room upstairs at the bar or downstairs in the more living room kind of setting. A joy to be in.

    The Institution is an institution for craft beer. Priding themselves on having some of the best (and most diverse) craft beers in Christchurch, you certainly won’t be disappointed by their unique selection - their international beers are some of the finest you’ll try in the city!
