If a quick treat and a coffee is what you’re after this place is great!!

    Perfect little coffee and cake shop. The finger sandwiches are fabulous, but the Plum/White Choc brioches should not be missed!

      The chocolate raspberry brownie that these folks make is amazing! The gluten free cakes are also very tasty- even if you don't have to eat gluten free they are worth a wee try. 

        Great coffee and walnut cupcakes … Nice treat for a Friday morning !

          The food is very good, exquisitely presented and makes you want to eat there all the time!

            I love this shop for more than its amazing cakes - it's an experience filled with sweetness from start to finish. The cakes are displayed in beautiful glass bell jars; the walls and lamps are in whimsical peppermint greens and candyfloss pink. It's Victoriana meets circus meets cupcake. Everyone always talks about the red velvet cupcakes, and I'm not surprised - they are special. A really lovely place to buy yourself something nice.

              I like what the Little Cake Kitchen does food and coffee-wise.   They have a great selection of smaller food things, which is cool if you want to have a few different bites and flavours.  Their coffee is amongst the best in Newton (and there are a few contenders for this), and their service is casual and friendly.  Worth it for the club sandwiches and ginger slice alone!

                Who doesn't like cupcakes? These are for the beginner or the expert - beautifully decorated and great to eat. Check out the icing art even if you don't have a sweet tooth.
