The Merchant Bar & Kitchen

Fairly priced - pretty cheap. Nice for a dinner with friends or family. My friends and I usually come here before we watch a movie. The staff are very friendly aswell and the atmosphere is great! Food is delivered to you pretty quickly. Nice view of the Lake from outside, or you can dine inside.

I came here recently for dinner before watching a movie with my family. I was very happy with the good service and the good food that was served to us. The Merchant is a great place to eat and many people can go there and I recommend it for a place to eat with friends and family. They make a lot of food to fill your stomach so you would not be left unsatisfied or hungry.

I went there for dinner. It had good service and we didn't have to wait too long for the food to come out. The food was quite nice. We ate some pizza, fries and burgers. They were all quite nice. Recommended place to try out.

Came here for dinner with the family before watching a movie. Have been here before for lunch- very busy- obviously quite popular! Had a nice dinner selection, enjoyed the $12.50 burger special for the week with kumara chips, mocktail (delicious), pizza and it was all delicious. Came out in decent time after we told them about our movie. Good choice in buying a voucher from the Localist store !

Came here today with girlfriends to try their lunch menu, have 2 vouchers for this restaurant from the Localist store and got a great selection of food, 2 chicken open sandwiches- looked really good, great chorizo & mozarella balls + desserts: brownie + mousse. Well presented, great service. Recommend highly! Coming back here for dinner! Can't wait

Awesome place. We went for dinner the other night before a movie. Great location, close to movie and mall but it doesn't feel like the food court. Great service and food. We had pizza (15 inch plenty for 2 people), yum as. The atmosphere was nice. It was full up on Friday night but not too noisy.

So my wife and I went here over the weekend. We sat down and had our meal. As we finished a staff member came over and told us we had over paid by a few dollars. To think in this day and age that this actually happens is amazing! Well done to these guys for doing something like this and giving us the $6 odd dollars back! Oh and the burgers were AWESOME!

These guys are awesome! The atmosphere is amazing and the food is great! Last time we were there, we were over charged but completely oblivious to it! The manager waited until we had finished eating then came over to apologise and give us the money back! Completely blown away!
