This bar is legendary! Go out of your way to come here if you're in the region, as the experience will be one you remember. The beers are good, the food is good, and it just encapsulates the character of the area perfectly. A favourite feature is the tower of doom for mobile phone... I'll say no more, just make sure you turn yours off when you enter!

The Mussel Inn is a legendary craft beer and live music venue at Onekaka in the wilds of Golden Bay. Lots of great touring live acts play there, and the Mussel Inn brewery has been pioneer in the craft beer movement in New Zealand. Fabulous atmosphere and just a great all round vibe.

Located in the heart of the ever popular Golden Bay area in the top of the South Island, this place is worth the two drive from Nelson. There’s a great seafood menu, a live music venue and most importantly a brewery on site. The Captain Cooker Manuka Beer is highly recommended.
