The Office is a busy cafe located in Maungatapere. Established in 2010, they have an all day blackboard menu of delicious lunch and breakfast meals, along with a selection of freshly prepared cabinet food including paninis, croissants, sandwiches, mini pizzas, slices and cakes.
They also sell coffees, smoothies, milkshakes, ices teas, ice chocolates and various other soft drinks.

The Office definitely takes the cake of being best eatery in south Whangarei. I pass through here frequently because my mum lives in Maungakaramea and we never let an opportunity slide to visit. Every meal they do here is brilliant - massive portions, lots of sauce and fabulous quality. The crispy potato pieces with sour cream, cheese and bacon are sure crowd pleasers and I can’t help but inhale their smoothies they’re so good. Their eggs benedict is the bomb!
I love the food at The Office Cafe. They offer awesome delectable and massive portions of their food. I got the Mediterranean lamb pita which was overflowing with salad, olives, sundried tomatoes, lamb and tzatziki. My friend got the bacon eggs benedict with mushrooms which looked incredible. The staff were friendly and flexible allowing another friend of mine to alter a meal so it was vegetarian. My coffee was sweet and delicious too.
