The Stables Bar and Cafe is an ideal place to stop off at for either breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Offering a decent range of delicious burgers, pizzas, sandwiches and tapas, it is the ultimate place to kick back and relax.

The chilled environment is great for those group bookings or even for a family get together. With reasonable prices, there isn't any reason not to try the food at The Stables.

A lovely cafe and bar, The Stables offers you a superb brunch against the backdrop of the Banks Peninsula. Enjoy some freshly baked goods alongside a tasty espresso in the sunshine. You’ll definitely be back!

    Wandering down the waterfront in the beautiful little town of Akaroa, we were wondering which waterfront cafe we would try for lunch, Nothing really stood out though and after wandering down the main street for a while we came across this gorgeous little garden cafe. With it being a nice sunny day this looked perfect. Each table was surrounded by plants and trees and little groups of people sat around relaxing in the sun. The tables were nicely spread out around the garden with a lot of privacy for each one. There was no table service and there was a little bit of a queue but after ordering a toasted sandwich and fries I was delighted to be served not just the standard toasted sandwich but a GIANT toasted sandwich which was very yummy. The atmosphere was so relaxing the whole place had a lovely holiday feel to it. I would definitely recommend!
