Ti Kouka Cafe was started by siblings Jesse and Shepherd in 2010. The brothers believe in sourcing where possible sustainable and organic produce that is locally produced.

Any suffering from tummy troubles must check out the cafe's separate low fobmap menu. Foods high in fobmaps are some of the usual suspects with other diet complaints such as bread, pasta and milk products. More surprising many vegetables and fruits, with their naturally occurring sugars, are also high in fobmaps. The brothers believe that their cafe is the only low fobmap menu available in Wellington.

Ti Kouka Cafe is one of the best breakfast/brunch spots in the capital. Even better, if you have gluten issues, they got you completely covered.

Two words - Gingerbread pancakes! Who knew they existed, but you won’t be able to think of anything else once you’ve tried them.

Yes, the food looks a bit phallic. Tasty and a little different.

I have never had anything less than an astounding meal here. Every time I’ve left feeling like I should have paid double for the level of skill and combination of flavours that I found on my plate. It is intelligent cafe food, we have progressed past the cranberry and brie paninis of the 90s and now it is about new and exciting flavours, it's about challenging our palates and yet still keeping a few top quality staples (best fries in town!)

The pulled pork is the BEST thing I have ever eaten, and the fries are a-maz-ing!

A great cafe hidden away up stairs.  Excellent good quality food and great hot chocolate.

Everything tastes good here, from the dips to the dessert. Fine dining quality food at cafe prices.

Head upstairs and enjoy some great food!
