Fresh & yummy dishes, lots of greens (salads), and best ice creams & smoothies in the area.

    Great freshly made food, relaxed atmosphere and great beer garden under ancient trees, awesome playground for the younger ones, music events and an overall progressive sustainable business philosophy - this place is a gem, ever changing and evolving (in a positive way) under the loving and competent guidance of Angela Morris.

      Love the creative atmosphere and cheerful staff. Food is excellent.

              I always stop here on my away through Motueka for a Real Fruit Ice Cream. as T.O.A.D Hall is famous for it’s Real Fruit Ice Creams. They use both ice cream and frozen yoghurt and have a large variety of flavours available. Their berries are always sourced locally if possible. and they also offer a variety of gelatos and sorbets . If you are dairy free, they have fruit frostys and sorbets on offer and also have the option of Gluten Free cones, catering to all needs. But best of all they just taste good.

                Toad Hall sells generously sized real fruit ice creams using fresh frozen fruit. This cafe and grocery store is located on the eastern end of Motueka, and makes a great stop off on the way to or from Golden Bay. This is one of the nicest fresh fruit ice cream places around - good value. plenty of choice and lots of room for the kids to runs round so they don’t get ice cream all over the back of the car.

                  Great place for a lunchtime pie with lots of different flavours - venison, blue cheese etc as well as the usual suspects. Toad Hall offers great service and high quality food - their pies don’t disappoint.

                    Best winter lunch place in Motueka! We called in here on a cycle trip on a wet Saturday. Sat outside in the heated dining area and enjoyed the fire. Had hot soup, chowder etc, very delicious and excellent quick service. The place was pretty full but service was quick and friendly. The other good thing is plenty of parking and room for kids to run around.
