Tole Street Park is a local treasure for those in the know in the Ponsonby area. Tucked away at the end of Tole Street (there are also entrances off Ponsonby Terrace and Clarence Street) this neighbourhood park has something for everyone: a skateboard bowl, an off-leash dog area, a basketball hoop, a nice copse of nikaus and a great playground with equipment suitable for little and bigger kids. It's a real reprieve from the bustle of Ponsonby Road but there are enough houses overlooking the park that it doesn't feel secluded in a seedy way. All in all, this park is a real local gem!

My nanny raved about Tole Reserve today, a new find for her. I'm told they are planning another trip already!
