The best nutella and almond crepes!!

The delightful and delicate taste and texture of Crepes is something to behold and at Torchon, they do it right! Amazing staff with true regional expertise make any visit as good as a summer in Europe. Love the Benedict served on a crepe.. Bon!

Love lemon and sugar and chocolate and coconut!!

Best crepes in town and great for value!!! I love lemon and sugar and chocolate with coconut

Hmmmm my mouth is watering as I think of the delectable sweet treats awaiting. Who would imagine something so simple, the lightest thinnest crepes sprinkled with sugar and drops of lemon could taste so devine and yet refreshing ... délicieux

Sublime crepes morning, noon or night

Before going to watch a movie at the Civic we popped into Elliot Stables to grab a bite to eat. We opted for Torchon, the French creperie and ordered the mushroom crepa and an entrée of ratatouille. The mushroom crepe was rich and creamy and the ratatouille tasted authentic. Service was speedy and our meal arrived in under ten minutes - ideal for someone who wants a quick dinner! Recommended.

This was one of the first food places I discovered when I moved to Auckland, and it is still one of my favourites. You can't go wrong with crepes, and the ones from Torchon are divine! They also have an excellent savoury menu and a European style hot chocolate that I just can't say no to.

Came here for dessert, but I think I should have just not had dinner! I got the crepe filled with caramelised apple, cinnamon and maple syrup with an added side of icecream. There was SO MUCH filling! I had imagined a nice layering of apple slices, instead got a generous mound of rich apple filling. On the way out we saw some of the mains crepes, which seemed to be the same size! Anyway, it was really delicious, especially with the icecream. My boyfriend got the banana with chocolate sauce – I wasn't sold on the sauce, but I think it was enjoyed anyway. Next time I think I'll go back to my staple favourite – lemon and sugar – as it's more of a dessert size, and you can't go wrong (in my eyes anyway).
