Tote & Poke is a popular sports bar in central Whangarei located next to Rynoz and with the same owner.Large screen TVs show a variety of sports, and there are drinks promotions, friendly staff and bar snacks available.The walls are lined with rugby paraphernalia and fun items like a rubbish bin made out of a basketball hoop.

Try your luck at the pokies or TAB, or enjoy a couple of relaxing beers with friends after work. Its a great place to watch that all important All Blacks test, and if you still have any energy left, head next door and dance the night away to some live music.

I’ve got some nephews who love watching the rugby. Taking them to the Tote & Poke bar was a fab way to introduce them to the camaraderie kiwis get when watching the game together. They’ve got a kids’ menu featuring classics like fish and chips and cheeseburgers - yum!

    For earlybirds up for the Rugby World Cup screenings, this is the place. With some great deals on food and drink, you can get your bets on and get settled in front of one of the many big screens. Tote & Poke has sports for fans of every variety covered and will even whip you up a killer brekky while you watch the game.
