Upperdeck is a recently renovated cafe, restaurant and bar located in the popular tourist town of Paihia. Choose from a range of delicious classic meals including their famous lamb & kumara pie or beef and blue cheese burger. You can also pick up some tasty cakes, great coffees, beers, wines and sharing platters.
For those luck enough to grab a seat on the deck, you can enjoy a stunning elevated view over the Bay of Islands.

This is the pie of all pies. Even reading it gets my mouth watering. Their tender lamb shanks and kumara encrusted in a short pastry served with a fresh green salad and mint sauce is the bees knees of any pie list. And Paihia is a pretty groovy town to chow down in!

    Feeling fancy? Get a wicked taste of Northland with the lamb shank and kumara pie, served with mint sauce, a salad and excellent views. The place does one pie only (unless you count the chicken and spinach filo), and they do it well.
