Vaile Hardware is the closest one comes to an antiques and collectables shop in Westport. It is a mixture of hardware, secondhand furniture and lots of collectables. There are some antiques as well.

Inside Vaile Hardware you will find lots of china, ceramics, pottery, kiwiana, kitchenware, metalware, glass, furniture, and general bric-a-brac.

Mostly hardware (as you would expect!), Vaile is my favourite place for garden wares. The second hand stuff is pretty odd but also pretty unique, so many would say, pretty collectable! A must visit if you need something useful for the home

    There's a lot to love about Westport. There's loads of great shops, galleries and this little beauty Vaile Hardware. The antiques and collectables store specialises in vintage hardware and tools, however you may get lucky and score yourself some awesome second hand finds - I certainly did!

      If you’re looking for a few tools to help your little building project then Vaile Hardware is just the place. From hammers and nails to drills and larger machinery, it’s hard to find another place on the West Coast with as many tools and pieces of equipment as this one. Enjoy!
