My favourite touristy thing to do in Otago. The Victorian Precinct is a wonderful way to experience New Zealand as it was in the late 1800s / early 1990s. Dress up, dine like royalty or just marvel at the amazing architecture.

    If there’s one thing I can’t get enough of in Oamaru it’s the Victorian Precinct. It’s crazy the number of people who drive through Oamaru, to get to Dunedin, and don’t even know it’s there! Featuring some of the best preserved Victorian commercial buildings you’ll see South of London, you’ll be mightily impressed by the shops and cafes which feature. Go see for yourself.
