Good food good company good people

Located on Auckland’s High Street in central town, Vivace offers an impeccable dining experience. After walking up a tall flight of stairs, it brings you into the Mediterranean restaurant where you are greeted by friendly waiters who show you to your seat. My friend and I chose to sit outside where we could overlook High Street whilst enjoying our dinner and drinks. We started off with cocktails, followed by some hot and cold tapas. The spicy meatballs were perfection. We also got salt and pepper squid, grilled haloumi and fresh bread with olive oil and salt, all of which were to die for. All this incredible food and we were yet to even start on our mains. I chose the chicken fillets wrapped in bacon, while my friend ordered the lamb shanks. One of the best meals I have ever had, solid 10/10. The waitress was also very friendly and helpful on what to order for both the food and drinks which was great for my indecisive nature. Can’t wait to go back to this place.

Wanna go somewhere cozy for drinks, dinner n catch up? Vivace on High Street is just that place. I love the setting, the fireplace, its own unique ambience! Try it for yourself and you wont regret.

Thanks for sharing the love Priya.

This gnocchi is one my favourites its stuffed with herbed cream cheese (i think), well definitely something creamy and is tossed in creamy tomato sauce. Its flavorful and filling, perhaps slightly heavy towards the end but still delish nonetheless

Great variety of choices for tapas. Spacious but not too much so that you loose intimacy.

From the street it doesn't look flash at all but when you come up the stairs you find yourself in a vast open room with a lot of wood elements, high ceilings, and a fire place. The food is rather pricey but also very tasty and they even have one organic wine on the wine list.

Main meals, pizza, sharing Tapas! All bases covered! The large group spaces are awesome! And you can easily make your own atmosphere. But also a pretty smooth date destination…. Service with a smile and you never need to wait long.

This place is really big which makes it great for a big party to go for dinner or a good place for work drinks. I had a really tasty pasta dish which was pretty decent for the price. Lashings of parmesan always help. The place was packed when we went but service was still pretty quick. It's not really a cosy venue because of the size and everything going on but it was great for our party.

This place is awesome. When I first stepped in I couldn't believe how large the place was. There is plenty of space for group tables, private function rooms, smaller tables, a bar and an outdoor area which has a cover and decent heaters (mainly just for smokers). I had a really delicious pasta dish which I though was decent for the price. The starters all looked really good too. The overall warm atmosphere mixed with class makes for a great place to go for any occasion!

I have been to Vivace many times. This was the first time in a long time that I had been though and it was the first time for my partner. Overall I had a good experience. A few things have changed as they do in most restaurants but I was happy to see that they had the ever popular Kumara Gnocci on the menu. They have changed that however and I was really hoping that it was going to be the same as I have had before. The Kumara bits were a lot bigger and the chicken bits were a lot smaller...there also wasnt as much suace as there has been in the past and it would have been nice to have a little bit more this time. But in saying that it was still a good meal
