Good atmosphere, drinks specials, and generous and tasty meals make the Trading Co one of the best restaurants in Wairarapa. The herby lamb rack and BBQ sticky ribs are delicious as a mains choices but their gourmet burger menu also offers big, juicy burgers. Whether you’re part of a big group or just want a quiet meal, there’s plenty of space to enjoy a meal.
With its sunny back garden area, deck area and wide open windows at the front, this is a nice place for lunch. You can easily spend a couple of hours here with a cold beer snacking on fries or chicken wings, before you tuck into their delicious open steak sandwich. There’s usually a good drinks special on so you can celebrate the long weekend.
Stop by at the Trading Co for a glass of wine and a classic dessert. The steaming hot apple crumble, made from local apples, is a sure favourite or for the chocoholics, try the Death by Chocolate - a rich, flourless decadent chocolate cake served with chocolate mousse, sauce and mint-choc ice cream.
