Stopped in for lunch Yesterday, the best Thai I've had - full stop. Atmosphere and vibe were incredibly pleasant and authentic, and the food was amazing. In my opinion - The best burger joint in NZ hands down! Great service, sweet specials and(!) a good selection of Beers and Wine! Yes, Beers and Wine! Velvet open till very late especially on the weekends(3am) so you can actually enjoy their down to earth attitude and service,  and amazing burger selection even when you're out in town for a boogie! My personal fav - The Big Bro! Respect! 

If you are looking for one of, if not the best all'round Indian Restaurant in Auckland, look no further. Chapati(or as my friends and I call it, due to us going so often - "Chapaties?") has an excellent selection of dishes(including vegetarian) superb service, great prices and a very pleasant atmosphere. Not to talk about a great selection of foreign Beers and a sweet bar. Highly recommended for the next time you are craving an Indian dish. Personal Fav - Barra Kebab Entrée. Enjoy!!

Ah Nando's - I have always been a fan. The spices, the chicken, the atmosphere... Really always felt like I'm in a little slice of Portugal. But one Nando's has really always stood above the others for me, from the quality of the food, to the setting, and right down to where it really matters - the service! Right from the moment I enter to the moment I leave I feel at home. Always welcomed with a smile, always looked after, and always with the quality I can rely on. This family owned Nando's branch really sets the bar, and whether you have had Nando's before or not, I can truly say, this is where you want your first, and future(!) Nando's visits to be. Just go easy on the hot sauce ;) 

Number one for me hands down. Best quality meat, veggies and beautiful hummus! Usual lunch stop. Highly recommend the Suvlaki mixed on rice, extra hummus, hot chili and Garlic Yogurt. Word.

If you're a westie, you should know by now that the best Kebab out west, is the Titirangi Village Kebab. Top quality service, meat and veggies along with everything else. Great place to stop by. You will not be disappointed. Do it!

If you are hunting for a nice Kebab, and you are in the St Lukes/Morning side area, definitely check out this place. Nice little hidden gem. Great selection and great quality food. Was my regular when I was staying in the area.

This would definitely be my choice when on the go and am not next to my usual Kebab spots. I would rate them as one of the best food chains in Auckland. Prices are quite good also.

This was actually the first place I tried a Kebab in when I moved to the great NZ. Being a middle eastern, I was quite impressed with these guys quality of kebabs. Wouldn't be first on my list, but definitely the usual stop when hanging in around mid queen street. Give it a go, you won't be disappointed.
