Where to buy gourmet goods
- 11Skazka DelicatessenNewmarketLove all the Russian, Polish, etc goodies. It's yum, it makes me miss home(s). Try the gherkins, actually try the dumplings, the tomatoes, the beer, the sweets... Ok, I need to check my fridge, probably some gherkins are left :P
- 229Farro Fresh - Grey LynnGrey LynnThey've got some really good German sausages, good bread and many other things. Their beer choice is also pretty impressive. Love it!
- 329Nosh Metro - PonsonbyPonsonbyOMG, I could spent so much money there. The food, especially all the cheese and sausages are so so good.

- 53New WorldMt RoskillCheck out the European section, it's full of gourmet goodies!!! You should try the quince jelly (French). Combined with some cream cheese on top of a good bread it's super delicious.

Posh eats
- 164The French CafeNewtonThat's some of the most amazing food I've ever eaten. We went for 9 courses with matching wine and I must admit, the chef knows his stuff. It looks simple but it's full of amazing flavours and the presentation is stunning! Also, the service is really great. You'll get all the background info about the matching wines and they really complement the amazing food. Hopefully, we'll get a chance to do it again some time.
- 29Daikoku Restaurant - Quay StreetAuckland CentralWe went here for our anniversary and what a great night out it was. The chefs are amazing, very entertaining to watch and all of a sudden scrambled egg is flying through the air :) You have to experience it yourself. I'm sure you'll walk away with your own funny story what happened with the scrambled egg after all :P And the YumYum sauce, OMG. It's so effin' delicious! Oh, and have you ever had fried ice cream? One of the best dinner nights ever...
- 3121Depot Eatery & Oyster BarAuckland CentralCan't go wrong with sea food ;)
- 418CelsiusBotany, East Tamaki, DannemoraOh, love the stone grill, very cool dining experience. And it's very delicious too :)

Where to go for guys' grooming
- 15Mo's Stylish CrewAuckland CentralAt least 5 times that they cut my hair and I'd always been very happy with the result. Both barbers are doing an excellent job. I'll definitely continue to get my hair cut by them.
- 22Mr Barber - Federal StreetAuckland CentralCheap, good and fast. But be careful when you ask for no. 2 as in 'like the dude in photo no. 2'—fun times, you can laugh about it several weeks later ;)
- 31The Stylish Man - ParnellParnellBeen there many times and was fairly happy. Bodie (one of the barbers) is fairly good but can't say much about the others. The service is excellent. After the grooming you get a hot face towel so that you really look refreshed after a session with them. Only the 'product' as in hair gel could be a bit cheaper.

Best breads in Auckland
- 16Diehl's BakeryWairau ValleySimply the best! If there's one thing that I miss most from Germany than it's breads, buns and rolls like those from Ingo. That's your go-to place if you want to eat a good, fresh & healthy bread, that's the real thing! There's only one complaint ;) Please open up more stores/branches in other areas of Auckland, probably Ponsonby :D
- 29Chateaubriant - Cafe & DeliDevonportBesides all the other yummy stuff, their baguettes are awesome!
- 377La Cigale French MarketParnellFresh warm croissants, pastry and bread, you can't go wrong no matter what you pick.
- 43New WorldMt RoskillCheck out their multi-grain buns/mini baguettes, they're really really good.
