On Trays Food Emporium reviewed by Mari T.

You will be greeted with a hot cup of coffee at this specialist food store. Know by some as the South African Store, they proudly display the SA flag and I’m told they stock the best biltong around. They also stock heaps of meats, cheeses and other goodies from all over the world - Mexican hot chocolate, Israeli couscous and local dairy products, it’s definitely worth a visit! If you drop by on a Saturday you might be lucky enough to sample a range of their products too.  Yet another Petone gem!

Dixon Street Deli reviewed by Caro D.

A great little spot to grab a coffee or tea, this cafe has all the charm and a lot more elbow room than some of its counterparts on Cuba St. Whether you’re bringing your laptop or a friend, Dixon Street Deli has you covered with plenty of seats and their own wi-fi hotspot. Even if you’re just cruising down Dixon, be sure to check their chalk board out front, inscribed with a new motivational message every day.

Five Boroughs reviewed by Joe S.

New York style dining-meet-deli vibe, solid fried chicken, awesome burgers and sandwich/sub game. Its all hype and has been since it opened. Just of Courtney Place up in Mt. Victoria, it’s definitely a place that deserves a stop of to try its food. Go check it!

Dunshea's Deli reviewed by Phil C.

I stumbled across this treasure on my lazy Sunday journey. Tasty treats to satisfy every craving, homemade with love and flavour galore.

Queen Sally's Diamond Deli reviewed by Jose

This is little deli is the hidden gem in Lyall Bay. Everything is TO. DIE. FOR. It's nearly impossible to make a choice but you'll never get something bad so no harm done. Accompanying coffee is great too, and it's just 1min from the water.
